Ghana passed the Narcotics Control Commission Amendement Bill 2023 on July 12, 2023 just weeks ahead of the 4th Annual HempTech Conference in Ghana organized by CEMT. With efforts from the Rastafari Council Ghana over the last few decades no one thought this day would come! Now the legislative instrument will need to be approved and the Narcotics Control Commission Board will begin setting up regulations for the Minister of Interior to now issue licenses. So, whether you have a license or not you will need the knowledge you will attain from the HempTech Conference and the launch of the Cannabis Institute to be successful in this industry.
The One Hectare Sustainable Farm Initiative by the AIE Project intends to become the model for a solution to food security, climate change, and to create a vertically integrated ecosystem for urban and small holder farmers in Africa to create jobs for youth and provide housing all on one hectare of land. With a live, work, play environment there are built in income streams and allow the residents, customers, or farmers to all work together while cultivating, researching and adding value to cannabis and hemp in Africa.
