The HempTech Conference is in it's 4th year in the Republic of Ghana. Started during COVID in December 2020, this event was established by the Cooperative Executive Management Team (CEMT) which is now a partnership with the AIE Project launched at the 3rd Annual HempTech Conference. The Advocacy, Implementation, and Education (AIE) Project is a group of 12 stakeholders that utilize their network to build cannabis and Hemp infrastructure in African countries.
The Agenda for the conference is 2 days of intesive workshops and live demonstrations for value-added products that can be produced from Hemp. Business discussions on export financing and building business capitol, what the new law passed in Ghana really means, and how to work with the Chiefs to acquire land for farming cannabis so there is mutual benefit and less land issues.
The 3rd day is the media launch of the Cannabis Research Institute and Training Facility for value-addition for Cannabis and Hemp ever to be launched in West Africa as well as a business networking event with the Diaspora and our invited special guests. This is the final year of the HempTech Conference in Ghana now that the law has passed, so we have created the infrastructure for the next step for building the cannabis industry in Ghana with these resources that farmers, government, and the private sector will definitely need.
