Join the 6th Annual HempTech Conference in July in Ghana
The Cooperative Executive Management Team (CEMT) was established in 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia after the successful formation of 2 other initiatives from 2014 - 2018 in the Cannabis and Hemp Space after the passing of the 2018 Federal Farm Bill legalizing Industrial Hemp. Realizing the need for black farmers to be educated on how to properly monetize their family land for this new cash crop birthed CEMT. With an initial focus on black farmers and land utilization a trip to Africa in 2019 sparked the larger vision of CEMT. Most black farmers are in Africa, the youngest population that will be consuming food is in Africa, and the opportunities to scale up a business quickly are in Africa. Now, CEMT is your service provider for connecting you to the Global marketplace in the agriculture industry from both sides of the Atlantic. Welcome to the Family reunion!
CEMT has signed on to the FIFR 15 Global Compact to lead the Flagship Initiative - Project 2040! Project 2040 is an initiative of the Global Compact in Year One that focuses on Agriculture and Agricultural innovation. Over the next 15 years there will be a global call to create 15k jobs in 15 different industries around the world and the framework will start with our farms! We are very excited to be given this honor and hope to set the foundation of the Global Black Supply Chain that will create our Black Economic Liberation!
Join the IAASC Summit to have your voice heard to be part of the One Hectare Sustainable Farm Project Initiative in Africa! The CEMT Team, our partners in Academia, the AIE Project partners, and others private stakeholders came together and designed the One Hectare Sustainable Farm that is transferrable to any row crops and small livestock and especially the specialty crop industry we want to bring to Nigeria.
This vertically integrated self-sustaining ecosystem is the nucleus to a larger community design. Ideal for real estate development projects that need food or grocery markets for their site, rural farm areas that experience droughts, research facilities for specialty crops, or urban farmers with small amounts of space for urbanization.
All demographics can use this model of the One Hectare Sustainable Farm with the components that we have designed to Re-Brand the way we think about agriculture while we solve the UNSDGs and the Agenda 2063 aspirations.
